The joy of peering into a nest after the young have flown has been a rich part of my Foxground life.  To explore the making and the materials – this is what I wish to share.4

Birds’ nests are those magic places put together with feet and beak.  Horsehair and plastic, thornbush and spiders web are placed in the fork of a branch, lantana or eucalypt, sports cap or on the floor of a swamp.

The strands woven to protect and nurture new life – the chance of commitment and nature’s cycles.
